It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Villemaire Bertrand of Mansfield, Quebec. Surrounded by loved ones in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, July 8th, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Villemaire was the son of the late Valmore Bertrand and the late Wilda Lacroix. Loving husband of Gayle (Belleau). Adored father of Lorianne (Martin Boucher) and Steve Rivet (Lynn Ledoux). Caring grandfather (“Pipi”) of Océane Boucher, Tanya Ledoux (Timmy Laroche), Rachel Rivet and great grandfather to Kole and Karson Laroche. Brother of Wilma (Valley Francoeur) and Mervin (Paulette Philion). As per Villemaire’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Villemaire will always be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness, his positive attitude on life, his smile, his laugh and his candies. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
