It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Cecil Venne, Virtue (née O’Brien) and stepmother Margaret (née Fleury). Loving father of Chris (Christina), Connie (Yves Leroux), Julie Caron and Wesley (Julie). Predeceased by sisters Bernadine (aka Duffy) and Cecilia, his son Timothy, and brother-in-law Andy Forester. Survived by sisters Theresa (Don McDonald), Helen (Jack Hill), Rose Ann, brothers Edward (Evelyn) and Wayne (Linda). Cherished life partner to Bobbie Jane MacKenzie. Grandfather of Andrew, Alyssa, Jordan, Jessie, Renée, Aiden and Ryan. Great-grandfather of Talula and Theo. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Wednesday, June 13th from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m., then at the Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau Quebec, on Friday, June 15th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. There will be no visitation on day of funeral.  Mass of Christian Burial in St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau on Saturday, June 16th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
