Surrounded by the love of his family, Ray passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the age of 59 years old. Ray leaves behind his loving son Ian (Sarah). Predeceased by his parents Geraldine Pilon and Raymond Dagenais. Ray is survived by his sisters Lillian (Rheo Godin), Linda (Frank Mastroianni), Odelle (Gerard Kelly) and his brother Lawrence (Noelange Labine). Predeceased by his brother Donnie ( Donna Crawford). Ray will be deeply missed by his best friend Maureen Carson and her daughter Brenda (Bob Ritchie). Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Shawville Hospital and the staff of the Intensive Care Unit of the Hull Hospital for all their care and compassion. Sand Bay and Bell's Lake won't be the same without your big jolly smile and laugh. Resting at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Vinton, Quebec on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.  Donations in Ray's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
