Employee of RCMP Curling Club for 50 years

Lawrence Schrankler passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018 in his 69^th year.  He leaves behind his partner, Laurie Hemmings.  Survived by sister, Della (Versal Hobbs) and predeceased by siblings Karl, Frieda, Ernest and Eric.  Lawrence touched the hearts of all he met and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.   Interment will take place in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Schwartz, Quebec on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. This will be followed by a gathering of family and friends. Donations in Lawrence's memory may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
