Nécrologie de Margaret Davis (nee Thompson)

Peacefully at Long Term Care, Shawville, Quebec on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the age of 80 years old. Loving wife of the late Hiram Davis. Devoted mother of Ricky (Christine), Garry (Claire), Kathy and Bonny. Proud grandmother of Ashley (David), Matthew (Jamie), Mitchell, Graham (Eric), Rachel, Ariel-Leigh, Mathea (Owen) and great grandmother to 12 wonderful great grandchildren. Survived by her only brother Keith (Bea) and her sisters Helen (late Doug), Eleanor (Colin), Roberta and sister-in-laws Isabelle, and Pat. Predeceased by her brothers Garfield, Mahlon and Allen. Margaret will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and the birthday girls. Mom was a long standing member of the order of the Eastern Star and the Shawville United Church Unit #7  of the U.C.W. The family would like to thank Shirley Ann Tanner for her unwavering support and friendship over the years and the dedicated and caring staff of the Long Term Care. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Shawville United Church, Shawville, Quebec. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.  Donations to the Terry Fox Foundation or Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
