Mrs. Howard had a wonderful reputation as the nicest secretary at Philemon Wright. I was honoured to have won the June Howard Peace award at Philemon Wright. My condolences to you all as you grieve her loss.

We wish to extend to the Howard family our sincerest condolences resulting from the loss of June. As we are in Florida we are unable to attend the funeral service.
June was my right hand and guiding light when I became the principal of Philemon Wright in1976. She was a most proficient and conscientious head secretary who earned my respect and that of the staff as well. She had a calm demeanour; she never seemed to panic regardless of the situation. We were fortunate to have had a very compatible secretariat coordinated so effectively by June.dEPb8
June had a genuine love and concern for her family and I am certain at this difficult time you all feel her loss tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you on Saturday and beyond

June was such a lady in the very best sense of that word. It was a pleasure to have worked for so many years at Philemon with her. I never smell Chanel #5 without thinking of her. Subtle. Feminine. Ladylike. It suited June perfectly. Rest in Peace.

My sympathy to the Howard family. I had the pleasure of working with June at Philemon Wright High School as a Secretary and I can remember her, with much fondness, her patience in teaching me “the ropes”. She always had that beautiful smile and, along with a kind word for everyone, left me with only good memories of working with her before she retired.

June used to come to my hair salon in Shawville for many years where while having a perm we would have a great visit! One of my favorite appointments that I looked forward to. She loved to reminisce and exorcise her bragging rights about her grandchildren. I have missed her over the last years. My heart is with June’s family.
