Nécrologie de Richard Allen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rick.  Rick passed away peacefully in hospital, Shawville on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 70.  Beloved husband of Darlene (Delorme), father of Richard-lee (Melissa), Steven and Troy and grandfather of Devan.  Survived by his brother John (Carol) and pre-deceased by his sister Joan (Flemming). He will be greatly missed by many brothers-in- law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Rick was born in Ottawa and after moving to Sand Bay, worked most of his life in the Pontiac area as a carpenter and never missed an opportunity to socialize with friends.  He lived his life the way he wanted and loved spending time at the Shawville Curling Club and the Colton Hunt Camp with his friends.   He never missed an opportunity to go to the hunt camp even though he never fished or hunted. Both places allowed him to see people and talk, which is what he loved most.  Rick always cared about the job he did and it was very important to him to be part of the community.

In lieu of a service the family will have a celebration of life in spring/summer.
