Nécrologie de Robert Kevin Tanguay

It is with sadness that we regret to announce the passing of Robert Kevin Tanguay on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa at the age of 69, surrounded by family.

Robert is predeceased by his parents Benedict David and Gwendolyn Tanguay and brother James Peter Tanguay.  He is survived by long term friend Kathleen Hodge of British Columbia, and sons Derek Robert (Laura Ann) and James Peter (Rosalind Louise). He will be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren Gabriella (Bree) Dean, Cameron Joseph, Hannah Marie, Angus Robert, and Archie John, siblings Benedict Jr. (predeceased by Shelley), Ronald Dennis (Marilyn), Patrick George, Judith Ann Mary (George Jewell), Jayne Veronica Gant (Stuart Gordon) and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a gathering at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, QC on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from1:00 - 3:00 p.m. followed by a casual celebration of life at the Lakeside Hotel, Portage-du-Fort, QC.
 

The Tanguay family would like to thank the staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for the compassionate and dedicated professionalism during his stay. In lieu of flowers, donations to the QCH Foundation would be welcomed in Robert’s name.
