Nécrologie de Ellen Horner (nee Mahon)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late Thomas Mahon and the late Eva Porterfield. Beloved wife of the late Hubert Samuel Horner. Loving mother of James (Lillian Brown), Hubert (Claudette Sigouin) and Winnona McNeely.  Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings  Les, Don, Stan, Howard, Hazel and Maude. Ellen will be sadly missed by her only living sister-in-law Denise and by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. Spring interment Village Cemetery, Shawville, Quebec.
