Passed away peacefully in hospital, Ottawa, On, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 58 years of Margaret Thompson. Loving father of Ricky (Christine), Garry (Claire), Kathy, and Bonny (Bayla). Grandfather of 7 and Great Grandfather of 8. Survived by sister Isabel Morrison. Predeceased by sisters Helena, Ethel, Hazel and Agnes. Will be missed by several nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends. As per Hiram’s wishes, his body was donated to the University of Ottawa and no visitation or service will be held. Hiram was a strong supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #162, Campbell’s Bay, would be appreciated.
